2011 Maryland State Show Invitational (Field Day)

& Mid-Atlantic Brown Swiss Futurity

The 2011 Maryland Brown Swiss State Show Invitational (A.K.A. "Field Day") and Mid-Atlantic Brown Swiss Futurity will be held August 5th and 6th at the Frederick Fairgrounds, Frederick, MD. FITTING AND SHOWING classes will be FRIDAY, AUGUST 5, 2011 starting AT 6:00 P.M. with a picnic following the competition. Fitting and Showing, in accordance with age requirements, is open to anyone who wishes to participate regardless of state residency. Ages for Fitting and Showing: Juniors: 8-10 years; Intermediate: 11-13; Senior: 14-19 as of January 1st of the current year. TYPE CLASSES will begin SATURDAY, AUGUST 6, 2011 AT 9:30 A.M. Steve Wagner will judge both days.

For Out of State entries the fee is $5 per class per animal. You must be a Brown Swiss member of your respective state. Youth exhibitors for type classes must be 9-19 years as of January 1st of the current year. The show will follow National Brown Swiss Association and PDCA rules and regulations.
